Tim grew up in Sydney and is married to Emma. He describes himself as an entrepreneur with the heart of an evangelist, and wants to see lots of bible-based churches planted all over Australia. He and Emma started Grace City in 2014. Tim loves preaching, surfing, and good coffee.
Matt is married to Shell and likes spending Saturday’s enjoying the outdoors and eating good food. He loves Jesus and seeing other people come to know and love Him too. Matt is excited to see how God uses Grace City to reach out to Green Square and beyond with the life-giving message of the Gospel. Before he was a Pastor, Matt was a Primary School teacher.
Amy is in ministry because she loves people and seeing them come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. After six years of running her own business, Amy felt God's strong and absolute call on her life - leading her to partner with Grace City as she undergoes full time Ministry Training (MTS). Amy and her husband, Jesse, live in the eastern suburbs and enjoy family, friends and the snow, beach, movies, holidays, boardgames and more!
Married to Brie, Tom has been attending Grace City since 2015 and working here since 2018. Apart from a life-long love of tennis, he loves learning new languages. His heroes are unusually focussed and disciplined people with deep convictions. Tom's heart is stirred by this truth: because of Jesus' death on the cross in our place for our rebellion, Christians can stand before God perfect and unjudged.
Although born in Sydney, Jade has only lived here since 2016. Raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Jade started following Jesus at age 15 and has slowly been growing in Christ ever since. He loves studying the Bible, reading and watching tv with his wife Karen.
Jade is currently doing a ministry apprenticeship (MTS) at Grace City, studies part time at SMBC and runs a communications consultancy business.
Sing Team Coordinator
Charles is married to Ash and a father to Poppy. Having completed an MTS apprenticeship with Grace City in 2015-2016, Charles now spends most of his time studying at Moore Theological College. He gets up in the morning because he is genuinely convinced heaven and hell are real. Charles loves books, coffee and indie-folk-rock-pop tunes.
City Kids Coordinator
Brie never thought she'd be in ministry, but now she can't imagine anything she'd rather do than tell people about the God who longs to be reconciled to them. She works as the Chaplain at an Anglican girls school and coordinates City Kids. Brie and her husband Tom live in the eastern suburbs and on the weekend you'll find her at the beach or on a long coffee date with a friend.
